Job Requirements
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Safe driving record
- Minimum of 1 year driving experience
- Must qualify for company insurance programs including vehicle insurance
- Meet Department of Transportation testing and physical requirements
- Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
- At least 21 years old
- Comply with state and local mandated requirements and federal regulations
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and cramped spaces
Job Qualifications
- No degree required
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
- Ability to use basic computer applications including Outlook, Word, Excel
- Strong communication skills
- Capable of physical labor including lifting heavy items
Job Duties
- Drive a company vehicle safely and responsibly avoiding traffic violations and accidents
- Physically load the company truck and verify the condition of the truck, manifest, and paperwork
- Deliver products to customers and unload truck verifying parts and obtaining signatures
- Make accurate notations on manifests and provide receipts for returned parts
- Collect payments from customers as necessary
- Comply with company policies and federal regulations
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups
- Complete required annual training
- Assume other duties as assigned
