Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver's license
- clean driving record
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to operate delivery vehicle safely in various conditions
- strong customer service skills
- basic computer literacy
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
- willingness to work flexible hours as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- automotive parts or customer service experience preferred
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- ability to write simple correspondence
- strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and team members
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages
- basic computer knowledge including web browsing and Microsoft Office
- ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions
- valid driver's license (Class E for Missouri locations) and clean driving record
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service
- abide by rules of the road and laws for safely operating a vehicle
- determine the priority of deliveries including the most timely and efficient route when not directed by management
- receive and process orders reviewing for completeness and clarity before delivery
- maintain a clean and well running delivery vehicle by performing routine maintenance and inspections
- safely drive a vehicle in various weather and traffic conditions
- maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- check in freight, stock, and retrieve parts
- handle cash and credit transactions
- assist with answering telephone and serving customers
- work with store inventory and assist in other locations' inventory if assigned
- maintain a clean facility inside and outside including sweeping, mopping, picking up trash, dusting shelves and rearranging stock
- adhere to scheduled work times unless authorized by a manager
- perform other job duties as assigned
