Job Requirements

  • Valid driver's license (Class E required for Missouri locations) and clean driving record
  • high school diploma or equivalent experience or motivation to pursue a GED
  • ability to safely operate a vehicle and abide by traffic laws
  • ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections
  • basic computer proficiency including web browsing and Microsoft Office
  • ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • availability to work scheduled hours and flexibility to perform additional job duties
  • ability to manage cash and credit transactions
  • readiness to work in varying weather conditions
  • compliance with post-offer drug testing and safety-sensitive position requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience or motivation to pursue a GED
  • automotive parts and/or customer service experience preferred
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • basic computer skills including web browsing and Microsoft Office knowledge
  • valid driver's license (Class E required for Missouri locations) with a clean driving record

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional customer service by assessing needs and meeting quality standards
  • abide by rules of the road and laws for safely operating a vehicle
  • determine the priority of deliveries including timely and efficient routing
  • receive and process delivery orders reviewing for completeness
  • maintain a clean and well running delivery vehicle through routine maintenance and inspections
  • safely drive in various weather and traffic conditions
  • maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • check in freight, stock, and retrieve parts
  • handle cash and credit transactions
  • assist customers by answering telephone and working the store counter
  • support store and other locations' inventory processes
  • maintain cleanliness of the facility both inside and outside
  • adhere to scheduled work times unless authorized by management
  • perform other assigned duties
