Job Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, talk, and hear regularly
  • Capability to occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle in various weather and traffic conditions
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Customer service orientation
  • Willingness to adhere to scheduled work times
  • Ability to handle cash and credit transactions
  • Ability to maintain facility cleanliness
  • Ability to respond to instructions and teamwork effectively
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent or motivation to pursue GED
  • Automotive parts and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence
  • Effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group settings
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rate, ratio, and percent
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding for routine tasks
  • Basic computer knowledge including web browsing and Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license (Class E for Missouri locations) with clean driving record

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Abide by rules of the road and laws for safely operating a vehicle
  • Determine priority of deliveries including timely and efficient routes
  • Receive and process orders ensuring completeness and clarity
  • Maintain a clean and well-maintained delivery vehicle
  • Safely drive a vehicle in various weather and traffic conditions
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Check in freight, stock, and retrieve parts
  • Handle cash and credit transactions
  • Assist customers via telephone and in-store
  • Support inventory management and assist other locations as assigned
  • Maintain cleanliness of the facility inside and outside
  • Adhere to scheduled work hours unless authorized
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned
