Job Requirements
- Must possess and maintain a valid CA noncommercial Class C License
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to clean various types of vehicles and related equipment
- Skill in understanding basic oral and written instructions in English
- Ability to speak English on a one-to-one basis using appropriate vocabulary
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with coworkers and the campus community
- Ability to use safe approved methods in completing required tasks
- Ability to complete forms and reports with accuracy and moderate speed
- Ability to lift objects weighing 50 to 75 pounds, stand, climb, stoop, push, pull, and crouch for extended periods
- Job requires wearing provided uniform
- Ability to use work cell phone and respond to work related communications during work hours
- Background check required
- Subject to California DMV Pull Notice System with satisfactory driving record

- Skill in checking vehicle fluid levels preferred
- Skill in operating filter crusher and oil dispensers preferred
- Ability to fuel vehicles with varying types of fuel preferred
- Ability to use work cell phone responding to work related texts, phone calls, emails, and chats during work hours
Job Duties
- Perform general lot attendant duties including upkeep of cleanliness of fleet yard lot, fleet parking garage, BruinCar/Motorpool stalls
- Inspect and report vehicle condition
- Conduct fleet and motorpool lot checks
- Retrieve, fuel, wash, and vacuum campus vehicles as needed
- Support BruinCar/Motorpool keybox operations including key/keybox/key fob battery inspection and upkeep
- Assist campus customers with fueling services, lost and found, and keybox support
- Check all vehicle fluid levels on BruinCar/Motorpool vehicles
- Complete maintenance service request forms and document repairs
- Coordinate off-site vehicle washing and handle delivery and pick-up of off-site repairs
- Occasionally pick up vehicle parts
- Maintain the clean and professional appearance of fleet yard and vehicle storage area
- Work in various weather conditions and times
- Respond to work-related communications during work hours
