Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months supervisory or team lead experience preferred
- one year of experience in specialty retail environment preferred
- ability to perform cash register functions
- ability to operate equipment such as scanners and pricing guns
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 55 pounds
- ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders
- ability to work in fast-paced, moderate noise environment
- availability to open and close the store
- ability to drive own vehicle for bank deposits
- adherence to company policies and procedures
- capability to interact effectively with customers and staff
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams, safety rules, and procedures
- perform mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
- knowledge of cash handling procedures
- understanding of cash, facility, and safety control policies
- proficiency in cash register operations and related tools

Job Duties
- Provide superior customer service to exceed customer expectations
- assist customers and operate cash register and scanner to itemize purchases
- assist Store Team Leader in fostering a customer first store culture
- model product knowledge and selling techniques
- maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized store environment
- merchandise store to appeal to customers and retain excitement
- rotate products to create eye-catching displays
- assist in educating store team about products
- maintain daily and weekly cleaning checklists
- ensure store standards for condensing and resetting are met
- open and close the store minimum two days per week
- assist with employee scheduling, training, and safety meetings
- enforce compliance with company policies
- manage merchandise receiving, unpacking, stocking, restocking, and rotating
- maintain accurate inventory levels
- implement and maintain merchandising plans
- ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability and key control
- authorize refunds and count register tills
- deposit money in bank
- assist customers with self-checkout
- manage store during Store Team Leader absence
