Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one year related experience and/or training
- must have personal telephone service
- ability to perform supervisory duties in the absence of the Store Manager
- good communication skills
- physical ability to maintain store cleanliness and order
- willingness to respond to alarm calls
- ability to handle cash and reconcile sales receipts
- adherence to store policies and security procedures

- strong leadership and supervisory skills
- ability to handle customer complaints effectively
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- basic knowledge of retail operations and inventory management

- proficiency in basic administrative tasks such as report completion and bank deposits
- ability to train and orient new employees
Job Duties
- Assigns duties to workers and schedules break periods in the absence of the Store Manager
- trains workers in store policies, department procedures, and job duties
- completes store reports and makes bank deposits as assigned by the Store Manager
- inspects merchandise to ensure it is correctly priced and displayed
- assists with stock rotation and inventory
- listens to customer complaints, examines returned merchandise, and resolves problems to restore and promote good public relations
- processes goods for placement in the store
- insures security of the store merchandise and facility
- assists in providing training to clients assigned to the store
- maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the store
- orients new hires on emergency plans and procedures
- supervises employees engaged in sales work, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating records, or preparing daily record of transactions for Accounting Department, or performs work of subordinates, as needed
- ensures compliance of employees with established security, sales, and recordkeeping procedures and practices
- receives and responds to alarm calls - must have personal telephone service
- other duties may be assigned
