Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of supervisory experience preferably in a food service environment
- Strong communication skills to interact with employees, guests, and vendors
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Physical ability to stand extensively without breaks and operate a cash register
- Ability to work in environments exposed to heat, steam, smoke, cold and odors
- Capability to bend, reach, walk, and handle physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds and carrying trays weighing 20 pounds over distances
- Ability to work irregular hours during busy and stressful periods
- Must maintain ServSafe certification
Job Qualifications
- One to two years previous experience in a supervisory role preferably in the food service industry
- High school diploma, some college or degree preferred
- Effective communication skills with employees, guests and vendors in person and by telephone
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Duties
- Assist the General Manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower
- Responsible for achieving planned profit levels while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction
- Accountable for proper handling of cash, credit card information, gift cards and all related payment processes
- Assist in planning and analysis of restaurant unit manpower, ensuring development and training of all employees including subordinate managers
- Assist General Manager in recruitment, training, and conducting new hire orientation
- Attend University of Perkins and successfully complete all coursework
- Achieve and maintain ServSafe certification
