Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of supervisory experience preferably in a food service environment
  • Strong communication skills to interact with employees, guests, and vendors
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • Physical ability to stand extensively without breaks and operate a cash register
  • Ability to work in environments exposed to heat, steam, smoke, cold and odors
  • Capability to bend, reach, walk, and handle physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds and carrying trays weighing 20 pounds over distances
  • Ability to work irregular hours during busy and stressful periods
  • Must maintain ServSafe certification

Job Qualifications

  • One to two years previous experience in a supervisory role preferably in the food service industry
  • High school diploma, some college or degree preferred
  • Effective communication skills with employees, guests and vendors in person and by telephone
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Assist the General Manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower
  • Responsible for achieving planned profit levels while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction
  • Accountable for proper handling of cash, credit card information, gift cards and all related payment processes
  • Assist in planning and analysis of restaurant unit manpower, ensuring development and training of all employees including subordinate managers
  • Assist General Manager in recruitment, training, and conducting new hire orientation
  • Attend University of Perkins and successfully complete all coursework
  • Achieve and maintain ServSafe certification
