Job Requirements

  • Ability to work early morning shifts consistently

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of large-scale baking or pastry experience
  • Experience decorating pastries preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work early morning shifts
  • Formal baking or pastry education is a bonus
  • Ability to stand, lift, and mix for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins according to Kneaders Bakery & Cafe standards
  • Follow recipes precisely to ensure consistency and quality
  • Lift and handle large quantities of dough and ingredients weighing 50 pounds or more
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Decorate pastries quickly and attractively for display and sale
  • Adapt to changing conditions and work schedules with flexibility
  • Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
