Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must complete Assistant Manager training classes
  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Shift Leader or Assistant Manager for internal candidates
  • Minimum 3 years Assistant Manager experience for external candidates
  • ServSafe certification
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Ability to lift 10-65 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
  • Ability to operate restaurant equipment and computer
  • Willingness to make bank deposits and travel to other locations
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Shift Leader or Assistant Manager for internal candidates
  • Minimum of 3 years Assistant Manager experience for external candidates
  • 100% workstation certification required for internal candidates
  • ServSafe certification
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Proven analytical, organizational, and planning skills
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Ability to operate computers and related software
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior

Job Duties

  • Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
  • Monitor staffing levels and ensure training systems are fully implemented
  • Motivate employees and maintain a positive, safe, and clean restaurant environment
  • Ensure guests receive exceptional service and food quality
  • Respond to guest concerns and maintain positive brand image
  • Use management tools to analyze operational and financial performance
  • Develop and execute action plans to increase sales and profitability
  • Adjust to priorities and manage conflicts effectively
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
