Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Completed Assistant Manager training classes
- ServSafe certified
- Minimum 1 year experience as Shift Leader or Assistant Manager or 3 years as Assistant Manager externally
- Must be 100% certified in all workstations
- Ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven analytical and organizational skills
- Must possess valid driver's license and insurance
- Ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk 85%-95% of shift
- Ability to operate restaurant equipment and computers
- Ability to drive personal vehicle for business tasks
- Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience as Shift Leader or Assistant Manager for internal candidates
- Minimum 3 years experience as Assistant Manager for external candidates
- Must be 100% certified in all workstations
- ServSafe certification required
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven analytical skills
- Good organization and planning skills
- Ability to perform basic math
- Working knowledge of personal computers and software
- Valid driver's license and insurance
Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- Monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
- Ensure training systems for employees on workstations are fully implemented
- Create a restaurant environment that is friendly, fun, clean, and safe
- Motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
- Manage daily activities to achieve excellence in operational performance
- Ensure guests receive exceptional experience by training employees and holding team accountable
- Monitor adherence to systems, procedures, and food safety requirements
- Respond to guest concerns and complaints timely and professionally
- Analyze restaurant operational and financial performance and develop action plans
- Partner with Restaurant Manager to increase sales and profitability
- Monitor costs and adherence to budget and restaurant goals
- Serve as a role model for excellent guest service
- Perform other related duties as assigned
