Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum four years of experience in food and beverage or related professional area
- OR two-year degree from an accredited university with at least two years of related experience
- Availability to work full-time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Must be able to supervise teams and manage shift operations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Must comply with all local and federal regulations regarding alcohol service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Four years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- OR two-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- Two years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage budgets and achieve financial goals
- Skilled in customer service and conflict resolution
- Experience in training and employee development
Job Duties
- Handles employee questions and concerns
- Monitors employees to ensure performance expectations are met
- Assists in supervising daily shift operations
- Supervises restaurant and related areas in absence of director or manager
- Communicates departmental goals during meetings
- Ensures employees have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms
- Communicates issues regarding food quality and service levels
- Verifies compliance with restaurant policies and procedures
- Monitors alcohol beverage service compliance
- Manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals
- Performs all duties of restaurant employees as necessary
- Opens and closes restaurant shifts
- Interacts with guests to obtain feedback
- Supervises staffing levels to meet service and financial objectives
- Encourages employees to provide excellent customer service
- Handles guest complaints with assistance when necessary
- Strives to improve service performance
- Sets positive examples for guest relations
- Assists in review of guest satisfaction results
- Meets and greets guests
- Supervises ongoing training initiatives
- Uses on-the-job training tools
- Communicates performance expectations
- Coaches and counsels employees
- Provides information to supervisors and coworkers

- Assists servers and hosts during meal periods
