Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- complete Assistant Manager training classes
- ServSafe certified
- ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- ability to stand and walk 85-95% of the shift
- ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
- ability to operate restaurant equipment and computer
- valid driver's license and insurance
- use personal vehicle for bank deposits and travel
- demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior
- comply with state and federal labor laws and regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum 1 year experience as a Shift Leader or Assistant Manager for internal candidates
- minimum 3 years experience as an Assistant Manager with P&L responsibility for external candidates
- 100% certification in all workstations required for internal candidates
- ServSafe certification
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to perform basic math
- strong organizational and planning skills
- knowledge of personal computers and software
- valid driver's license and insurance
Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- monitor staffing levels and ensure employee training on workstations
- identify and develop candidates for leadership positions
- create a friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
- motivate and inspire employees and recognize achievements
- manage daily restaurant operations to ensure excellent service and food quality
- maintain guest interaction and respond promptly to concerns
- ensure compliance with all food safety requirements and company standards
- analyze restaurant operational and financial performance
- develop and implement action plans to increase sales and profitability
- monitor costs and adherence to budgets
- protect the company brand and ensure regulatory compliance
