Job Description
The Assistant Manager (AM) position is a pivotal role within a fast-paced quick service restaurant, serving as the operations leader dedicated to maximizing profitability, enhancing guest service, developing employees, and managing overall restaurant operations. This position operates under the guidance of the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) and supports in driving key performance outcomes and the daily operational management of a single restaurant location. The assistant manager directly oversees a team typically consisting of 20 to 45 employees, including Hourly Shift Coordinators and Team Members, ensuring the smooth functioning of all aspects of the restaurant's operations.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience
- Some understanding of P and L interpretation and management
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred
- 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, experience in management preferred
- Some understanding of P and L interpretation and management
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed
Job Duties
- Manage inventory costs and perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory inspections
- Place and receive inventory truck orders
- Maintain and monitor list of all restaurant assets
- Ensure preventative maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment
- Follow all cash control and security procedures
- Motivate and direct team members to exceed guest expectations
- Provide coaching and feedback to Shift Coordinators and Team Members
- Direct restaurant team towards efficient preparation and sale of products
- Ensure restaurant upholds operational and brand standards
- Perform duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary
