Job Requirements
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Ability to stand for extended periods up to 8 hours
- Capability to lift heavy boxes up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain cleanliness
- Mental alertness to ensure safety of self and others
- Maintaining good personal hygiene and appropriate uniform
- Capacity to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using kitchen equipment and cleaning materials
- Willingness to use portable or step ladders as needed
Job Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant management or a leadership role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Proven ability to manage staff effectively
- Experience with inventory and cost control
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to handle stressful situations professionally
- Flexible and adaptable to changing work conditions
Job Duties
- Managing the staff to help maintain and achieve restaurant targets and standards
- Monitoring and controlling labour costs and food costs
- Working as a team with co-workers to achieve service times
- Coaching the staff to provide excellent customer service representative of the A&W brand
- Spending time every shift on the floor supporting and working with employees
- Ensuring all food safety regulations are followed
- Hiring, retaining, and terminating employees
- Assisting with inventory management
- Other duties which involve the day to day operation of a fast food restaurant
