Job Requirements
- At least high school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
- ability to work various shifts including weekends
- ability to stand and exert mobility for up to 10 hours
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- effective reading and writing skills for communication
- manual dexterity for using tools and equipment
- willingness to work in various restaurant roles as needed
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- serve safe food certification preferred
- serve safe alcohol certification preferred
- effective leadership and team management skills
- excellent problem-solving abilities
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work under pressure

- knowledge of health and safety regulations
Job Duties
- Ensure timely, friendly service according to company guidelines
- cultivate a culture aligned with Flynn Applebee's core values
- respond immediately and correct all verbal guest complaints
- prioritize guest contact and complete required table visits
- maintain departmental inventory levels
- perform line checks to ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards
- effectively schedule employees to meet sales demands
- maintain effective safety and security programs
- promote and lead restaurant organization, cleanliness, and sanitation
- perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs
- promote quality recruitment and referrals
- facilitate training procedures for new managers
- maintain trained staff through orientation, individual training, meetings, and company policy implementation
- participate in employee development using performance documentation and evaluations
- assess employee efficiency and provide regular feedback
- monitor employee performance and handle disciplinary actions
- ensure compliance with company policies
- control costs in assigned departments
- comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- conduct food and liquor inventories as requested
- prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
- ensure sanitation standards meet health department and company standards
- serve as a role model for managers and employees
- develop skills in store technology
- work in all restaurant positions as needed
- use the Management Development Program for leadership growth
