Job Requirements
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- minimum 1 year experience as shift leader or assistant manager (internal) or 3 years assistant manager experience (external)
- ServSafe certification
- must be 18 years or older
- valid driver's license and insurance
- ability to perform basic math
- strong communication skills in English
- ability to lift 10-65 lbs
- ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
- ability to operate restaurant equipment and computer
- ability to drive personal vehicle for business purposes
- willingness to accept responsibility and show initiative
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
- associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum 1 year experience as a shift leader or assistant manager for internal candidates
- minimum 3 years assistant manager experience with some P&L responsibility for external candidates
- must be 18 years or older
- must complete assistant manager training classes
- ServSafe certified
- ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- excellent interpersonal skills
- strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills
- working knowledge of personal computers and software
- valid driver's license and insurance
- integrity and ethical behavior
Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- monitor staffing levels and ensure training systems are implemented
- identify and develop internal candidates for management and team leader roles
- ensure effective execution of the Service Profit Chain and "My Promise to You"
- create a friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
- motivate and inspire employees while recognizing and rewarding performance
- manage daily restaurant operations to achieve excellence
- ensure exceptional guest experience and food quality
- monitor compliance with food safety and company procedures
- respond to guest concerns professionally and promptly
- maintain positive brand image through consistent quality and cleanliness
- analyze operational and financial performance
- develop and execute action plans to increase sales and profitability
- monitor costs and adherence to budget and goals
- use management information systems and tools
- serve as a role model for excellent guest service
