Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year experience as shift leader or assistant manager (internal) or 3 years assistant manager experience (external)
  • ServSafe certification
  • must be 18 years or older
  • valid driver's license and insurance
  • ability to perform basic math
  • strong communication skills in English
  • ability to lift 10-65 lbs
  • ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
  • ability to operate restaurant equipment and computer
  • ability to drive personal vehicle for business purposes
  • willingness to accept responsibility and show initiative

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
  • associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum 1 year experience as a shift leader or assistant manager for internal candidates
  • minimum 3 years assistant manager experience with some P&L responsibility for external candidates
  • must be 18 years or older
  • must complete assistant manager training classes
  • ServSafe certified
  • ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills
  • working knowledge of personal computers and software
  • valid driver's license and insurance
  • integrity and ethical behavior

Job Duties

  • Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
  • monitor staffing levels and ensure training systems are implemented
  • identify and develop internal candidates for management and team leader roles
  • ensure effective execution of the Service Profit Chain and "My Promise to You"
  • create a friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
  • motivate and inspire employees while recognizing and rewarding performance
  • manage daily restaurant operations to achieve excellence
  • ensure exceptional guest experience and food quality
  • monitor compliance with food safety and company procedures
  • respond to guest concerns professionally and promptly
  • maintain positive brand image through consistent quality and cleanliness
  • analyze operational and financial performance
  • develop and execute action plans to increase sales and profitability
  • monitor costs and adherence to budget and goals
  • use management information systems and tools
  • serve as a role model for excellent guest service
