Job Description

Job Requirements
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- ability to work various shifts including weekends
- ability to stand and exert mobility up to 10 hours
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to read and write for communication
- possesses finger and hand dexterity for using tools and equipment
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications are a plus
Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines
- cultivates a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee’s core values
- ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints
- ensures guest contact with required table visits
- maintains departmental inventory levels
- ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards
- effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
- maintains effective safety and security programs
- promotes and leads restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation
- performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
- promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team members
- promotes Flynn Applebee’s training procedures for new managers
- helps maintain a trained staff through orientation and training sessions
- participates in employee development and performance documentation
- assesses employee efficiency and provides feedback
- monitors employee performance and handles disciplinary actions
- assures compliance with company policies and regulations
- controls cost in assigned department
- complies with local, state, and federal laws
- drives bi-weekly/weekly food and liquor inventories
- prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
- assures sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department guidelines
- provides a role model for managers and employees
- develops self on all store-related technology
- works in all positions and assists team members as needed
- uses Management Development Program for growth
