Job Qualifications
- College graduate with a degree in hotel and restaurant management or equivalent experience
- Certified from a national food safety program
- Three years experience in a supervisory position
- Certified in-store trainer in all areas
- Ability to organize work effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Management oriented personality
- Positive, energetic attitude
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of business
- Self-starter able to adapt to new ideas
- Experience in restaurant management
- Passion for serving others
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Job Duties
- Run shifts effectively to provide great food and excellent guest service
- Demonstrate positive and effective role modeling for team members
- Support the development of a high-performing team, leading as coach and mentor
- Maintain compliance with operational and food safety procedures
- Assist the general manager to develop sales volume and profit margin
- Prepare and review daily and weekly operations reports
- Ensure proper portion control and training on food safety
- Recruit, hire, and terminate team members
- Provide ongoing training, development, and coaching
- Perform bi-annual performance appraisals
- Manage team scheduling and labor budgets
- Maintain excellence in guest relations including feedback follow-up
- Supervise inventory orders and quality control
- Ensure equipment maintenance and cleanliness
- Demonstrate effective communication and leadership
- Monitor safety programs and community partnerships
