Job Requirements

  • mobility and manual dexterity including standing, bending, stooping, climbing stairs, and walking up to 10 hours per day
  • ability to lift 40 pounds and carry 10 feet
  • ability to understand and articulate recipes and complex instructions
  • capability to handle stressful situations and conflict resolution
  • ability to complete prep lists, inventory forms, order sheets, and time/temperature logs
  • familiarity with electronic devices such as mobile phones, computers, POS systems, and spreadsheet software
  • excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with management

Job Qualifications

  • experience in kitchen management or a similar culinary role
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to train and mentor team members
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • proficiency with kitchen equipment and basic computer programs

Job Duties

  • support kitchen managers in food production and presentation
  • maintain a clean and organized kitchen, storage, and prep areas
  • train new and existing kitchen staff
  • manage food cost and kitchen labor goals
  • ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • communicate effectively with management and team members
  • assist in inventory and ordering processes
