Job Requirements

  • Mobility and manual dexterity including ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb stairs, and perform extensive walking for up to 10 hours daily
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs and carry items 10 feet
  • Ability to comprehend and articulate recipes and complex ideas
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and conflict resolution
  • Ability to complete prep lists, inventory forms, order sheets, and time/temperature logs
  • Understanding of basic electronic device programs and contemporary software applications
  • Open and candid daily communication with management and team

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in kitchen management or a similar role
  • Strong ability to comprehend and articulate complex recipes
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to operate basic electronic devices and software including POS systems
  • Proficient in inventory management and food safety standards
  • Ability to handle conflict and stressful situations professionally

Job Duties

  • Support kitchen managers in producing safe, high-quality food and excellent presentation
  • Maintain a spotlessly clean and high-functioning kitchen, storage, and prep areas
  • Train current and new team members
  • Meet or exceed food cost and kitchen labor goals
  • Handle prep lists, inventory forms, order sheets, and time/temperature logs
  • Communicate openly and partner with the general manager, supervisors, and senior leadership
  • Manage stressful situations and resolve conflicts effectively
