Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • authorized to work within the United States
  • ability to maintain a flexible work schedule including nights and weekends
  • prior leadership experience or restaurant management background preferred
  • proven track record as a certified trainer in back-of-house roles
  • successful completion of required assessment testing
  • deep understanding and proficiency in all kitchen stations and functions

Job Duties

  • Uphold all Bloomin' Brands employment policies and professional standards
  • coordinate kitchen setups for the opening shift to ensure a smooth start to the day
  • manage team member schedules and oversee shift transitions
  • implement and coach the team on essential security and safety protocols
  • review the previous night’s closing tasks to maintain consistency
  • monitor daily inventory levels and prepare for incoming vendor deliveries
  • strictly enforce shelf-life labeling and rotation policies
  • verify equipment temperatures for freezers, refrigerators, and dish machines regularly
  • master all menu flavor profiles and ensure the team follows recipe cards exactly
  • supervise daily sanitation audits and maintain health inspection readiness
  • oversee ticket flow and kitchen timing to guarantee excellent guest cook times
