Job Requirements

  • Completion of high school education or its equivalent
  • Experience in restaurant or kitchen operations preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • Understanding of food safety standards
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Capacity to handle physical demands of the position

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in grasping and communicating Chipotle's ethos of prioritizing food with integrity
  • Proficiency in the main language(s) spoken in the workplace area
  • Completion of high school education or its equivalent
  • Prior restaurant-related work experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Assure food quality through the precise cooking and preparation of meals according to order specifics and kitchen guidelines
  • Manage the monitoring of food wastage and inventory levels, addressing any issues with food quality as necessary
  • Enhance team cohesion between the back-of-house crew and front-of-house crew members
  • Assist in the transformation of crew members into upcoming kitchen leaders
  • Enhance customer service and operational efficiency by fostering effective communication with both crew members and patrons
  • Ensure the kitchen area remains sanitary and well-kept
  • Oversee the maintenance of kitchen devices to ensure they are in good condition and quickly fixed if any problems arise
