Job Requirements

  • Completion of high school education or its equivalent
  • Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) used in the workplace
  • Strong understanding and commitment to Chipotle’s Food With Integrity standards
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to oversee kitchen operations and maintain safety standards
  • Capability to foster teamwork and lead crew members towards leadership development

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in grasping and communicating Chipotle's ethos of prioritizing Food With Integrity
  • Proficiency in the main language(s) spoken in the workplace area
  • Completion of high school education or its equal is necessary
  • Candidates with prior restaurant-related work are preferred

Job Duties

  • Assure food quality through the precise cooking and preparation of meals according to order specifics and kitchen guidelines
  • Manage the monitoring of food wastage and inventory levels, addressing any issues with food quality as necessary
  • Enhance team cohesion between the back-of-house Crew and front-of-house Crew members
  • Assist in the transformation of crew members into upcoming kitchen leaders
  • Enhance customer service and operational efficiency by fostering effective communication with both Crew members and patrons
  • Ensure the kitchen area remains sanitary and well-kept
  • Oversee the maintenance of kitchen devices to ensure they are in good condition and quickly fixed if any problems arise
