Job Requirements
- Must have a proven record of leadership, team building, effective communication and sound judgment
- At least 2 years experience as a chef, sous chef or kitchen manager, or equivalent, with an emphasis on Escoffier techniques
- Must have excellent communication skills in either English or Spanish
- Must have current ServSafe certification
- Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a POS system, accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Be able to work in a standing position for 10-12 hours per day
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work 50 to 60 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- Proven leadership and team building skills
- Minimum 2 years experience as chef, sous chef or kitchen manager
- Expertise in Escoffier techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English or Spanish
- Current ServSafe certification
- Proficiency with POS systems, accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job
Job Duties
- Create and lead Back of the House team
- Coordinate daily kitchen operations and prep areas
- Ensure adherence to PURE standards and systems
- Implement plans for food quality and cost control
- Manage employee retention and training
- Oversee cleanliness and sanitation practices
- Operate POS and accounting systems
- Serve as Expo/BOH Manager on Duty during scheduled shifts
- Fulfill Kitchen Manager duties when necessary
- Demonstrate advanced knife skills and Escoffier techniques
