Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 1 year of experience in a kitchen or related role
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • knowledge of safe food handling practices
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
  • ability to work well as part of a team

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervises and oversees the production of food
  • enforces compliance with all employment policies in area of responsibility
  • monitors tickets and sets the pace during peak hours
  • manages through hands-on supervision including serving, hosting, and cooking
  • conducts formal line taste and temperature checks
  • ensures proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
  • manages inventory and tracks waste
  • monitors and maintains cleanliness and proper maintenance of equipment
  • ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales
  • practices safe food handling procedures
  • ensures back of house employees follow established recipes and procedures
  • creates a safe environment and assists in developing back of house employees
  • maintains cleanliness of the restaurant and safety of guests
  • maintains the culture of the restaurant living core values daily
