Job Requirements
- Must have a proven record of leadership team building effective communication and sound judgment
- At least 2 years experience as a chef sous chef or kitchen manager or equivalent with an emphasis on Escoffier techniques
- Must have excellent communication skills in either English or Spanish
- Must have current ServSafe certification
- Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a POS system accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Be able to work in a standing position for 10-12 hours per day
- Be able to reach bend stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work 50 to 60 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- Proven leadership team building effective communication and sound judgment
- Minimum 2 years experience as chef sous chef or kitchen manager with emphasis on Escoffier techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English or Spanish
- Current ServSafe certification
- Proficient in basic math POS system accounting software and Microsoft Office
Job Duties
- Create coordinate and lead the Back of the House team responsible for kitchen prep and dish areas
- Ensure daily operations comply with PURE standards programs and systems
- Develop and implement plans to achieve objectives in food quality costs employee retention cleanliness and sanitation
- Monitor and manage daily accounting functions POS and supporting computer systems
- Serve as Expo or BOH Manager On Duty during scheduled shifts
- Fulfill all Kitchen Manager duties when necessary
- Demonstrate excellent knife skills and advanced Escoffier techniques including butchering meat and fish
