Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in assistant general manager or related hospitality role
- Previous experience managing a full-service restaurant with at least 2 million in volume
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage front of house operations including HR and marketing
- Proven ability to lead a team and optimize staffing
- Experience with promotional events and community partnership development
- Must be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as an assistant general manager, service manager, or bar manager at a full-service restaurant with a 2 million plus volume
- Experience with promotional events and social catering is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-growing and emerging environment
- Self-starter who works well in a collaborative team
- Exceptional work ethic and upbeat, engaging personality
- Strong multi-tasking and ability to stay calm under pressure
- Positive, guest-focused attitude that elevates team morale
Job Duties
- Report directly to the restaurant general manager to elevate rooftop operations
- Lead by example demonstrating integrity and performance
- Collaborate with a team of top-notch professionals to deliver an elevated guest experience
- Own shifts at the bar and rooftop creating a perfect environment for guests and teammates
- Manage front of house operations including human resources, operations, and marketing
- Partner with hotel management team to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Optimize staffing to maintain proper team levels while minimizing overtime
- Drive creation and execution of promotional events in collaboration with marketing and PR
- Establish and nurture local business partnerships with hotel director of sales
- Take on additional responsibilities while maintaining high energy and top-tier service
