Job Requirements
- previous hotel management experience with proven success in leadership and guest service results
- prior experience with direct sales producing at least 50 percent market mix of total revenues
- high school diploma required, college degree preferred
- valid driver’s license
- exceptional time management and multitasking skills
- strong customer focus and commitment to satisfaction
- ability to walk and stand for extended periods
- willingness to travel up to 10 percent including overnight stays

Job Duties
- participate in sales calls and site visits with sales team to acquire new business or close deals
- review financial reports and statements to identify concerns and improve performance
- coach and support hotel team members to manage wages and controllable expenses
- manage costs including supplies, labor, utilities, food, and beverage within budget
- ensure service, technical skills, and other training across the property
- establish and maintain collaborative relationships with direct reports and team
- maintain an open door policy and actively solicit team member feedback
- hire team members with strong expertise, creativity, and leadership
- observe service behaviors and provide feedback
- review guest feedback and survey results to identify improvement areas
- analyze service issues and develop creative solutions
- interface regularly with customers to obtain feedback
- ensure building maintenance and operational areas meet guest expectations
- enforce policies fairly and consistently and recognize team performance
- ensure property meets franchise standards and is a safe, secure facility for guests and team members
