Job Requirements

  • Four-year college degree
  • At least one year of related experience
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Proficiency in Windows and office software
  • Ability to stand during entire shift
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
  • Maintain warm and friendly demeanor
  • Attend mandatory meetings and trainings
  • Participate in management coverage
  • Maintain professional appearance and grooming
  • Comply with hotel standards and safety regulations
  • Handle problems proactively
  • Understand and evaluate complex information

Job Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree
  • At least one year of related supervisory experience
  • Proficiency with OPERA property management system preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in guest service and conflict resolution
  • Proficient in Windows and company-approved spreadsheets and word processing

Job Duties

  • Ensure the front office operates in an attentive, friendly, efficient and courteous manner
  • Provide quality service to all guests prior to and throughout their stay
  • Maximize room revenue and occupancy through effective up-selling and reservation management
  • Respond to social media feedback and follow up with guests and internal teams
  • Assist and lead guest service training initiatives within the front office
  • Communicate effectively and genuinely with guests, team members, and other departments
  • Supervise shifts as needed and manage guest service agents including hiring and training
