Job Requirements
- Four-year college degree
- At least one year of related experience
- Supervisory experience required
- Proficiency in Windows and office software
- Ability to stand during entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- Maintain warm and friendly demeanor
- Attend mandatory meetings and trainings
- Participate in management coverage
- Maintain professional appearance and grooming
- Comply with hotel standards and safety regulations
- Handle problems proactively
- Understand and evaluate complex information
Job Qualifications
- Four-year college degree
- At least one year of related supervisory experience
- Proficiency with OPERA property management system preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in guest service and conflict resolution
- Proficient in Windows and company-approved spreadsheets and word processing
Job Duties
- Ensure the front office operates in an attentive, friendly, efficient and courteous manner
- Provide quality service to all guests prior to and throughout their stay
- Maximize room revenue and occupancy through effective up-selling and reservation management
- Respond to social media feedback and follow up with guests and internal teams
- Assist and lead guest service training initiatives within the front office
- Communicate effectively and genuinely with guests, team members, and other departments
- Supervise shifts as needed and manage guest service agents including hiring and training
