Job Requirements

  • minimum of 2 years hospitality management experience
  • strong communication and analytical skills
  • experience with food and beverage cost control
  • ability to lead and mentor teams
  • knowledge of federal, state and local laws related to food and beverage operations
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • physical capability to stand and move for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 2 years hospitality management experience
  • strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • proficiency with technology including word, excel, and powerpoint
  • ability to coach and mentor team colleagues with emotional intelligence
  • team-oriented and guest-focused attitude
  • excellent planning and organizing skills
  • understanding of financials and effective payroll control
  • ability to push, pull, and carry moderate weight
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and nights

Job Duties

  • lead shifts ensuring excellent service and operations
  • assist in managing scheduling and staffing
  • forecast and control food and beverage costs
  • train and mentor team members
  • ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and internal procedures
  • coordinate special events at the hotel
  • maintain strong communication across departments
