Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or six months to one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ServSafe Certified Food Manager or TIPS equivalent
  • must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
  • ability to read and speak English
  • regular and reliable attendance
  • ability to incorporate safe work practices
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • willingness to work in extreme heat, wet or humid, and outdoor weather conditions occasionally

Job Duties

  • Organizes and conducts pre-shift meetings to review specials, menu changes, house counts, etc.
  • ensures the restaurant and facilities are clean, well-stocked, and equipment is maintained
  • circulates throughout restaurant and kitchen to monitor food quality and service standards
  • greets guests at tables to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • ensures cash handling procedures are accurately followed
  • creates revenue forecasts and monitors restaurant budget
  • oversees daily activities including serving, bussing, seating, room service, and cashier duties
  • responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, assigning, directing, evaluating, rewarding, and disciplining associates
  • manages department members including Food and Beverage Supervisor, Host, Server, Cashier
  • ensures effective orientation and ongoing training programs
  • maintains regular and reliable attendance
  • incorporates safe work practices
