Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in restaurant management
- Valid CA noncommercial Class C Driver's License
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to work varying schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Background check required
- Live Scan background check required before employment start
- Satisfactory driving record necessary
- Ability to work in a high-volume, public setting
- Ability to complete diverse tasks efficiently
- Commitment to guest service and team leadership
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in restaurant management
- 2+ years experience in hotel restaurant management preferred
- Highly developed interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience managing workload with competing priorities
- Skill in interacting effectively with guests, team members, and managers
- Demonstrated skill in supervising and motivating staff
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and food service applications
- Skill in writing grammatically correct business correspondence
- Working knowledge of food service safety and sanitation rules
- Math skills for production and payment transactions
- Ability to assemble and monitor inventory
- Skill in budget preparation and cost control
- Knowledge of employee recruitment and training policies preferred
Job Duties
- Ensure efficient and profitable operation of food and beverage services
- Provide team leadership in meal and beverage preparation and customer service
- Oversee dining room, bar, banquet, and conference space operations
- Manage and guide staff in preparing and serving alcoholic beverages
- Ensure quality products and gracious service to all guests
- Delegate work to accomplish departmental goals and motivate the team
- Maintain high productivity standards despite changing priorities
