Job Duties
- Assists in the development of means to improve profit including estimating cost and benefit and exploring new business opportunities
- analyzes information forecasts sales against expenses and creates annual budget plans
- compiles information analyzes and monitors actual sales against projected sales
- analyzes differences between actual budget wages and forecasted wages for efficient budget planning
- identifies underlying principles reasons or facts by breaking down data
- assists in creation of the annual operating budget
- provides analytical support during budget reviews to identify cost saving and productivity opportunities
- assists in implementation of controls to manage business risks
- ensures strong accounting and operational control environment
- analyzes financial data and market trends
- leads finance and accounting team with interpersonal and communication skills
- oversees internal external and regulatory audit processes
- conducts performance appraisals
- attends meetings and communicates with owners understanding priorities and strategic focus
- meets needs of key stakeholders including owners corporate and guests
- communicates financial concepts clearly
- manages property working capital and cash flow
- facilitates critique meetings with management team
- monitors all applicable taxes ensuring current and accrued status
- submits reports timely ensuring delivery deadlines
- develops and supports achievement of performance and budget goals
- generates and provides accurate timely results in reports and presentations
- reconciles balance sheet ensuring account balances are supported by documentation
- ensures profit and loss accuracy
- ensures compliance with management contract and reporting requirements
- ensures compliance with SOPs and LSOPs
- ensures team members are cross-trained
- manages property policies fairly and consistently
- ensures new hires receive orientation and appropriate training
