Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in food and beverage operations management
  • Prior oversight of multiple dining venues
  • Knowledge of current service styles and techniques
  • Working knowledge of budgets and reporting
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to manage and train a team
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Effective communication and financial judgment
  • Willingness and ability to obtain Food Handlers certification
  • Compliance with Florida's Care Provider Background Screening process

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in food and beverage operations management in high quality restaurant, club, hotel, or senior living company
  • Prior oversight of multiple venues
  • Knowledge of current service styles and techniques
  • Working knowledge of budgets and reporting
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems preferred
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
  • Associate's Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business preferred
  • Ability to manage, train and create a high-performing team
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Effective communication, judgment, financial acumen and social skills
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain
  • Willingness and ability to obtain Food Handlers certification as required

Job Duties

  • Provide direction and oversight to Vi's dining venues including the Care Center
  • Ensure staff delivers high quality dining experience for residents and guests
  • Manage and train a high-performing dining operations team
  • Oversee multiple dining venues to maintain consistent operational excellence
  • Develop and manage budgets and reporting for dining operations
  • Apply knowledge of current service styles and techniques in service delivery
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management to uphold dining standards
