Job Requirements

  • associate’s degree or two or more years of directly related work experience
  • working knowledge of the game of ice hockey preferably at the collegiate level
  • ability to perform effectively in a high-demand athletic environment with tight deadlines
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • ability to work with minimum supervision
  • excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills
  • demonstrated proficiency in MS Office including Word Excel Access and Outlook
  • ability to properly handle confidential information
  • ability to prioritize work
  • ability to perform basic financial functions

  • ability to work in fast paced environment

Job Duties

  • assist with on-site coordination for all division I men’s home and away games including locker room setup pre-game routines and post-game protocols
  • manage official game sheets statistics input and video exchange
  • serve as point of contact for officials arena staff and scouts
  • assist with planning and execution of team travel including air ground lodging and meals and create detailed itineraries
  • assist with coordination of practice schedules rink reservations and equipment room access
  • assist in management of men’s hockey team’s equipment inventory general maintenance and initial distribution of team gear
  • assist with management of rosters practice schedules and game records
  • aid in on-campus recruiting operations in compliance with NCAA conference and university policies
  • serve as liaison between coaching staff athletic department and campus partners including media relations and community service
  • maintain up-to-date manuals and SOPs
  • support marketing and game day promotions as needed
  • perform other duties as assigned in support of men’s hockey program and athletic department’s overall mission and operations
