Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 7+ years of relevant experience in hotel operations
- 3+ years of hotel management experience
- Experience in front office, desk, or housekeeping operations
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Ability to manage teams and lead operations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to oversee budgeting and financial controls
- Consistent attendance
- Ability to perform essential job functions

- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Job Qualifications
- Experience opening a new hotel from planning through construction and opening, including writing standard operating procedures
- Excellent planning, organization, and guest services skills
- Outstanding leadership and communication abilities
- Proven track record in hotel industry achieving financial and guest service goals
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Bachelor's degree in hotel or hospitality management preferred
- 7+ years in hotel front office, operations or housekeeping with 3+ years in hotel management
- Operational experience serving tourist or vacation markets preferred
- Experience managing properties serving families and children, particularly limited-service, is a plus
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
Job Duties
- Manage and coordinate hotel departments including front office, night audit, pool, housekeeping, and other common areas requiring housekeeping support
- Assume leadership responsibilities of Director/General Manager when absent
- Support safety and security of guests and team members by reviewing security footage and coordinating pool initiatives
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, expense controls, and labor management for hotel operations
- Partner with resort leadership to ensure seamless guest experience and operational standards
- Monitor guest feedback channels and resolve service issues promptly
- Collaborate with third-party vendors for deep cleaning and upkeep of pool and facilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to front office and housekeeping management
- Hire, train, and develop team members
- Drive financial performance and develop operating budgets aligned with strategic goals
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to support occupancy goals and hotel initiatives
- Ensure guest and team member satisfaction (GSAT/TSAT) and align initiatives with theme park operations
- Evaluate guest needs, market trends, and recommend service and operational changes
- Participate actively in environmental, health, and safety responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned
