Job Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in property maintenance or engineering
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel regularly to managed hotel properties
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Flexible availability including day shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call
- Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to maintain detailed maintenance records
Job Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of relevant property maintenance experience
- Leadership experience in maintenance or engineering roles
- Knowledge of hotel maintenance standards and regulatory compliance
- Strong mechanical and technical understanding of building systems
- Experience in managing capital projects
- Skilled in vendor management and procurement
- Ability to train and develop maintenance staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Provide support to all hotels within the company
- Recruit, hire, and train maintenance personnel
- Ensure maintenance staff adhere to property-specific and brand-wide standards
- Manage and supervise maintenance projects
- Handle procurement process for third-party vendors
- Address equipment and mechanical system issues and perform minor repairs
- Train maintenance staff on guestroom and equipment preventive maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure life safety and preventive maintenance programs are followed
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
- Advise Maintenance and General Managers on mechanical systems and building maintenance
- Ensure exterior buildings and grounds are well-maintained
- Verify all life safety systems function correctly and meet safety standards
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and resolve property maintenance issues
- Implement energy-saving measures and sustainability practices
- Be flexible and responsive to additional tasks
- Ensure General Managers communicate maintenance programs effectively
- Ensure properties achieve high brand Quality Assurance results
