Job Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in property maintenance or engineering
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel regularly to managed hotel properties
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Flexible availability including day shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to maintain detailed maintenance records

Job Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant property maintenance experience
  • Leadership experience in maintenance or engineering roles
  • Knowledge of hotel maintenance standards and regulatory compliance
  • Strong mechanical and technical understanding of building systems
  • Experience in managing capital projects
  • Skilled in vendor management and procurement
  • Ability to train and develop maintenance staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Provide support to all hotels within the company
  • Recruit, hire, and train maintenance personnel
  • Ensure maintenance staff adhere to property-specific and brand-wide standards
  • Manage and supervise maintenance projects
  • Handle procurement process for third-party vendors
  • Address equipment and mechanical system issues and perform minor repairs
  • Train maintenance staff on guestroom and equipment preventive maintenance
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure life safety and preventive maintenance programs are followed
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
  • Advise Maintenance and General Managers on mechanical systems and building maintenance
  • Ensure exterior buildings and grounds are well-maintained
  • Verify all life safety systems function correctly and meet safety standards
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and resolve property maintenance issues
  • Implement energy-saving measures and sustainability practices
  • Be flexible and responsive to additional tasks
  • Ensure General Managers communicate maintenance programs effectively
  • Ensure properties achieve high brand Quality Assurance results
