Job Requirements
- high school graduate or general education degree
- 3-5 years of hotel sales experience
- proven track record of success in sales
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- experience in premium branded hotels
- moderate computer proficiency
- ability to analyze market and competitive data
- willingness to work collaboratively with various hotel and corporate leaders
Job Qualifications
- high school graduate or general education degree with 3-5 years of equivalent work experience
- strong understanding of hotel sales and competitive sets
- exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- experience with premium branded hotels, especially select service or extended stay brands
- moderate computer skills including email communication and data analysis
- bachelor's degree preferred
- select, focused, or extended stay hotel experience preferred
- Marriott brand experience preferred
- Delphi system experience preferred
Job Duties
- oversee sales operations across Residence Inn Lexington South and Springhill Suites Lexington
- manage and mentor the sales team to drive market share and revenue
- develop and implement effective sales strategies
- collaborate with General Manager, Revenue Management, and Regional Sales staff to align sales goals
- analyze market conditions and identify growth opportunities
- maintain communication and cohesion among operational and corporate leaders
- optimize sales staff performance and execution of the business plan
