Job Requirements

  • high school graduate or general education degree
  • 3-5 years of hotel sales experience
  • proven track record of success in sales
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • experience in premium branded hotels
  • moderate computer proficiency
  • ability to analyze market and competitive data
  • willingness to work collaboratively with various hotel and corporate leaders

Job Qualifications

  • high school graduate or general education degree with 3-5 years of equivalent work experience
  • strong understanding of hotel sales and competitive sets
  • exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • experience with premium branded hotels, especially select service or extended stay brands
  • moderate computer skills including email communication and data analysis
  • bachelor's degree preferred
  • select, focused, or extended stay hotel experience preferred
  • Marriott brand experience preferred
  • Delphi system experience preferred

Job Duties

  • oversee sales operations across Residence Inn Lexington South and Springhill Suites Lexington
  • manage and mentor the sales team to drive market share and revenue
  • develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • collaborate with General Manager, Revenue Management, and Regional Sales staff to align sales goals
  • analyze market conditions and identify growth opportunities
  • maintain communication and cohesion among operational and corporate leaders
  • optimize sales staff performance and execution of the business plan
