Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- ability to stand walk and sit for extended periods
- manual dexterity to perform garment pressing steaming and sewing tasks
- ability to use computerized POS terminals
- ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds
- availability to work primarily on weekends
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- prior sewing experience is helpful
- prior experience with computerized POS system
- excellent phone and communication skills
- ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- strong customer service orientation
- ability to adapt communication style to different customers
- basic knowledge of garment care and alteration processes
Job Duties
- Welcome all customers with genuine and friendly enthusiasm over the phone virtual chats and in person
- use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience
- meet all service vows including prepare welcome meet needs and be there for all customers includes all operational checklist task and meeting customers emotional and practical needs
- provide exceptional service experience to multiple customers simultaneously and contribute to the store achievement of five-star customer service
- effectively communicate the importance of alterations in perfecting the dress and promote all alterations services and personalization options
- maintain store standards including cleanliness organization promotional readiness and store recovery
- greet and escort all alterations customers to and from appointments
- press steam and spot clean all merchandise
- follow quality control guidelines inspecting garments before final delivery
- build long-term relationships to exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty
- support inventory management by processing special orders pickups and merchandise standards
- support all cash wrap behaviors and processes transactions accurately
- seek assistance from the Alterations Manager for unresolved customer issues
- maintain a clean and well-organized alterations room
- perform duties and tasks as assigned by store management
