Sticky Fingers Cooking of Austin is a well-established organization dedicated to fostering culinary curiosity among children through engaging, hands-on cooking classes. Job Requirements
- Availability at least 2 days a week Monday - Friday between 2-5 pm
- Commitment to teaching full sessions ranging from 6-12 weeks
- Ability to manage groups of children aged 3-18
- Willingness to pass a fingerprint background check
- Access to reliable transportation
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification
- Experience working with children
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to communicate with team in a timely manner

- Experience working with children of varying ages
- Ability to manage and engage groups of children
- Passion for food and teaching culinary skills
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain before teaching
- Ability to communicate clearly and work as part of a team
- Reliable transportation

Job Duties
- Lead engaging 60-minute cooking classes for children aged 3-18
- Manage and engage groups of 8-14 children
- Teach basic kitchen skills such as washing, cutting, stirring, measuring, and grating
- Introduce children to new ingredients and healthy foods from around the world
- Prepare and review weekly class curricula and shop for fresh ingredients
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Maintain punctuality and reliability for scheduled classes
