Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience in a fine dining resort or high-volume kitchen
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred but not required

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision and efficiency following recipes and plating standards
  • assist with station setup mise en place and ingredient preparation before and during service
  • maintain food quality consistency and presentation according to resort standards
  • ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients monitoring freshness and minimizing waste
  • follow all food safety and sanitation protocols adhering to health and safety regulations
  • support sous chefs and fellow cooks by executing menu items and special event dishes
  • monitor kitchen equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs
  • assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff to uphold culinary standards
  • maintain a clean and organized workstation ensuring efficiency during service
  • perform other duties as assigned
