- two years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- experience managing multiple tasks and timelines
- ability to work effectively with people from multiple backgrounds

- ability to lift and move boxes and other items weighing up to 25 lbs

Job Duties
- purchase and maintain office supplies
- manage the course evaluation process for undergraduate and graduate courses
- collect syllabi for each course and maintain the syllabi library
- collect course descriptions and prepare them for posting on the department website
- serve as backup credit card holder for travel and other purchases
- coordinate food services for speakers and departmental activities
- manage reservations for conference rooms
- assist with building functions including office and key assignments
- maintain department directory and coordinate mail distribution
- act as main contact for furniture and equipment delivery and removal
- serve as primary point of contact providing organizational information
- develop and maintain methods and systems for electronic and physical records
- prepare and audit complex records and edit documents
- schedule logistics and secure resources for meetings and conferences
- develop and distribute communications according to policies
