Job Requirements
- Be eligible to work in the United States
- Possess a valid driver’s license with fewer than 12 conviction points in the past 36 months
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or an associate degree
- Demonstrate 4 to 5 years of related field experience or 2 to 3 years with associate degree
- Possess advanced knowledge of DNRC rules, policies, and procedures
- Maintain strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with four to five years of related experience or an associate degree in business management with two to three years of related experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
- Strong computer literacy including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and database management
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting strict deadlines
- Familiarity with Incident Command System and fire management procedures
- Skills in building and maintaining collaborative working relationships
- Ability to interpret complex rules and provide clear guidance
Job Duties
- Perform technical and administrative office management tasks
- Maintain accurate budgeting, accounting, and payroll records
- Prepare financial reports and reconcile accounting systems
- Coordinate and manage fire business operations including interagency collaboration and fire packet management
- Provide administrative support to forestry and trust lands programs
- Interpret regulations and statutes related to program services
- Support employee onboarding and purchasing procedures
