Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience in strategic account sales or management
  • Experience in hospitality sales preferred
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Strong B2B selling experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Coachable with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to maintain accurate customer data in CRM
  • Ability to develop and execute pricing and sales strategies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred
  • Minimum of five years of strategic account sales and/or management experience with at least three years in a relevant role
  • Experience selling products or services to hospitality businesses such as hotels, resorts, restaurants, or event venues
  • Familiarity with hospitality procurement processes and decision-makers
  • Proven track record of growing revenue within hospitality accounts through upselling and cross-selling
  • Proficient in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools like Salesforce.com
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to meet or exceed assigned revenue goals and sales quotas
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Job Duties

  • Making sales or soliciting orders for contracts from hospitality industry customers
  • Servicing existing revenue through contract negotiations, bids, and proposals
  • Developing and executing pricing strategies based on customer profitability profiles
  • Collaborating with specialists to increase category penetration in office and non-office supply categories
  • Maintaining customer data integrity and accuracy in ODP Business Solutions' CRM
  • Acting as a thought leader by developing selling strategies and training coworkers
  • Initiating sales support and ensuring customer satisfaction
