Job Description

The Sous Chef, Japanese Cuisine, plays a critical role in assisting the Executive Chef in designing and preparing authentic Japanese meals specifically tailored for airline customers. This position is responsible for providing culinary expertise in traditional and modern Japanese cuisine while promoting quality food services. The Sous Chef ensures all food safety and sanitation regulations are strictly adhered to, maintaining the highest hygienic standards throughout the preparation and production processes. Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Japanese cuisine or airline catering
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail oriented and highly organized

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a sous chef or similar role in Japanese cuisine
  • Strong knowledge of authentic Japanese culinary techniques and ingredients
