Job Requirements

  • At least 6 years progressive experience in a hotel or related field
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems and company-approved spreadsheets and word processing
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Strong speaking, reading and writing skills
  • Ability to convey information clearly
  • Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high pressure situations
  • Maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
  • Effective in handling workplace problems
  • Ability to assimilate complex information, data from disparate sources
  • Effective at listening, understanding, clarifying and resolving concerns
  • Ability to work with and understand financial data and basic arithmetic functions

Job Duties

  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including compliance with dress code and wearing a name tag
  • Comply with and ensure adherence to company standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations
  • Assist in creation and implementation of annual budget plans and monitor hotel performance
  • Play a pivotal role in hotel sales efforts including client meetings and hosting events
  • Tour operating departments daily and make necessary adjustments
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings and training sessions
  • Review weekly and monthly financial position and generate accurate forecasts
