Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and walk regularly
- Ability to dismantle, clean, and sanitize equipment
- Ability to run a tow motor
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibility and openness to changing environments
- Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized work environment
- Willingness to work as part of a team and lead others
- Basic reading and math skills

Job Duties
- Plan day and assess proposed production demands
- Opening meeting with plant staff
- Understand and operate all plant equipment
- Work with QA to execute master sanitation schedule
- Interact daily with Operations and QA
- Complete all tasks requested by Operations and QA in a timely manner daily
- Receptive and driven to meet goals given by operations
- Maintain open communication with operations regarding issues, setbacks, and reasonability of expectations
- Oversee all production activities on the plant floor
- Understand, adhere to, and enforce all company policies and procedures
- Ability to dismantle, clean, and sanitize equipment
- Start and shut down equipment
- Complete changeovers
- Manage log book duties
- Ability to run a tow motor
- Know how to use a scale
- Understand and adhere to government regulations and documentation requirements
- Comply with USDA and HACCP programs
- Keep production organized and efficient via communication and planning
