In October 2024, PBR was acquired by TKO Group Holdings, a merger between Endeavor-owned UFC and WWE. This acquisition is part of a larger $3.25 billion agreement anticipated to close in 2025.

This move aligns with Silver Lake Partners' plans to take Endeavor private and includes IMG and sports hospitality firm On Location Experiences.
