Established in 2005, the organization offers affordable lodging, meals, and transportation services to individuals and families traveling more than 25 miles to receive medical treatment in the area.

The primary mission of HavenHouse St. Louis is to ensure that every person has access to quality healthcare without the added burden of finding and affording accommodations away from home.

Location

In January 2025, HavenHouse St. Louis relocated to a new facility at 3450 Park Ave., strategically situated on Grand Blvd between Highways 44 and 64/40.

This location provides convenient access to 19 regional medical facilities, enhancing the organization's ability to serve a broader community.

Services Offered

• Affordable Lodging: Private rooms with attached full bathrooms are available at a nightly rate of $50 for a room and $65 for an apartment, thanks to generous donations.
• Meals: Complimentary breakfast and dinner are provided daily, along with a self-service grab-and-go selection of snacks and drinks, ensuring guests have access to nutritious meals without additional stress.
• Transportation: A family shuttle operates three times daily, offering transportation to and from 19 medical centers, alleviating the challenges of navigating an unfamiliar city.
• Community Spaces: Guests have access to eight shared indoor and outdoor community spaces, fostering a sense of connection and support among families.

HavenHouse St. Louis is staffed 24/7, ensuring that assistance is always available to guests.

Additional amenities include laundry facilities, toiletries, and cleaning supplies, allowing families to focus on their loved ones' care without the distraction of daily chores.

Impact and Support

Since its inception, HavenHouse St. Louis has served over 114,000 individuals from all 50 states and 79 countries, providing more than 120,000 nights of care.

In 2023, the organization set a new record by serving 3,975 patients and their families, offering 4,059 nights of care.
